Product Review | Prebiotic Sodas

Craving a soda šŸ„¤but want something a litter better-for-you? Look no further! šŸŒŸ Olipop and Poppi are two popular low-sugar soda options that have taken the health-conscious world by storm.ā

ā€¢ā

šŸ¬Both of these products are a ā€˜better for youā€™ soda, providing less sugar than a regular soda. Regular cola has 39g of added sugar per can. Poppi's cola comes in at just 4g, while Olipop's version impressively boasts only 2g of added sugar.ā

ā€¢ā

šŸŒæ @drinkolipop and @drinkpoppi both position themselves as supporting digestive health. Olipop's secret? A proprietary blend of plant fibers, primarily inulin, totaling 9g of fiber per serving. Poppi, on the other hand, says their prebiotics come from Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) + agave inulin, delivering 2g of fiber per serving in total. šŸŒ±ā

ā€¢ā

Inulin is a well-studied prebiotic fiber. šŸ“ššŸ” Apple cider vinegarā€¦not so much. ā

ā€¢ā

The Takeaway: If you want to enjoy a soda without all the added sugar, then either Olipop or Poppi are good options. If youā€™re looking for a soda with enough fiber/prebiotics to support an evidence-based health benefit then my recco would be @drinkolipop

Have you had any better-for-you sodas recently? šŸ„¤Which one do you prefer? ā
