How many #probiotics do I need? šŸ§A simple question with a not-so-simple answeršŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€šŸ”¬ā€¦there are many different types of probiotics šŸ¦ , all of which can have different health benefits, and require you to eat different amounts. ā

I like to think of probiotics the same way we think of vitamins ā€“ simply because vitamin C and vitamin K both fall within the vitamin category, that does not mean they do the same thing in our bodies nor does your body need the same amount of each.ā

Probiotics are live #microorganisms ā€“ often called ā€˜the good bacteriaā€™ šŸ¦  In order for a food or #supplement to accurately be labeled as containing probiotics, there should be the right amount of the right type (or strain) of probiotic to give you a health benefit. These ā€˜rightā€™ amounts and types are determined by looking at the scienceā€¦.so what does that mean? If you are looking to take probiotics to help with digestive health, or immune health, or skin health talk to your doctor šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€āš•ļø or dietitian šŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€šŸŒ¾ to figure out exactly what type of probiotic you should be looking. #NoshItFoodFactsā
