I went to Mexico 🇲🇽 recently and ate a 🦗. I have to admit that it was not my favorite, but hey…we can’t YUCK someone else’s YUM, right?!

In many parts of the 🌎 (Asia, Africa, and Latin America) this is a delicacy. Not only that, adding insects 🐜 🦗🐛 to our food supply might just be the answer to our growing global populations need.

By 2050 our world will host 9️⃣ Billion people. To feed this many 🚻, current food production will need to almost DOUBLE. Insects are a highly nutritious food source with high fat, protein, vitamin, fiber and mineral content.¹

While it might not be mainstream in the 🇺🇸 yet, insects are both #sustainable and #nutritious so keep an eye out for new foods made with ingredients like #CricketProtein flour.
