Coffee

#Coffee. It’s literally the first thing I think of when I wake up because I legit can not function until I’ve had at least 2 cups. 💤

•

Does drinking coffee make you #dehydrated❓As long as you’re drinking caffeine in moderation, then the answer is NO.¹

•

According to the @usdagov#DietaryGuidelines, healthy adults can safely consume up to 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣mg of caffeine a day.² On average, one cup of ☕️ contains around 96mg of caffeine while one cup of tea 🍵 contains around 30mg. The @FDA warns not to consume more than 1,200mg of caffeine per day because that’s when negative health effects could start to occur.³ You likely won’t reach this level by simply drinking coffee, but be careful with caffeine supplements 💊.

•

Enjoy that morning coffee, don’t be afraid about dehydrating yourself, but don’t over do it. #NoshItFoodFacts
